The Ainsworth Premium Leather Sheath was thoughtfully designed to balance timeless style with the practicality of daily carry. As the first Leatherman sheath backed by a 2-year warranty, it set a new standard for Leatherman carry systems. Sourced from a small, family-owned workshop in Slovakia, this two-year development project involved close collaboration with the supplier to ensure impeccable fit and finish. Each sheath is meticulously handmade and rigorously tested for durability and precise product fitment, exemplifying Leatherman’s commitment to quality and innovation.
Leatherman Nylon Sheath
A new take on an old favorite, we went back to the drawing board to create an instant classic that included the most requested improvements, such as enhanced durability for long-term use and an updated style that still felt distinctly Leatherman. Developed and sourced with international suppliers, this multi-year project delivered a full line of top-performing carry systems, establishing a new standard in the multitool industry.
Leatherman Heritage Sheath
This product line expanded the Original Wave Leather Sheath into a multi-SKU offering, designed to accommodate a wide range of Leatherman multitools, from the keychain-sized Micra to the Heavy Duty Super Tool 300. It quickly became the best-selling leather sheath in the industry, redefining this classic as a present-day favorite. Developed in collaboration with existing sourcing partners, the project prioritized extending the line while incorporating key performance improvements.
Leatherman FREE Nylon Sheath
The FREE Nylon Sheath was sold exclusively with the new FREE line of plier-based multitools, offering consumers an added touch of distinctive style and functionality. It incorporated a silicone label, the signature FREE gray nylon, and a sleek black branded snap, making it both practical and visually appealing for multitool enthusiasts.
Leatherman x Supreme
For this exciting collaboration, we crafted a unique, limited-edition leather sheath featuring a brass snap, a gold foil logo, and custom drum-dyed leather. This fan-favorite project demonstrated our ability to deliver distinctive, high-quality products on a tight timeline, highlighting both our creativity and efficiency.
Leatherman x Shinola
Crafted from a single piece of custom-dyed leather and meticulously assembled with a single stitch along the right side, this uniquely designed sheath exuded classic sophistication. Featuring a distinctive lightning bolt snap and handmade to perfection, it was the epitome of refined craftsmanship. Paired with a custom Leatherman Charge, this exclusive package was sold solely by Shinola of Detroit, showcasing the perfect blend of style and functionality.
