Born and raised in Portland, OR, I grew up surrounded by towering mountains, rushing rivers, and lush rainforests. The great outdoors have always been central to who I am and how I enjoy life.

As a child, I dreamed of becoming a pilot or an architect, but my path ultimately led me to the world of invention. Since higher education doesn’t offer a degree in inventing, I pursued engineering instead. After a few years, I decided to pause my studies to travel the world—a decision that forever changed my perspective and shaped my journey.

Upon returning from my travels, I ventured into a range of careers, including roles as an offset-printing Quality Control Manager, Packaging Designer, Leathergoods Workshop Manager, Packaging and Display Developer, Product Manager, and Consultant.

I have a natural talent for understanding how things work and an obsession with improving them. My approach blends creativity with structured processes, and I thrive on iteration—failing fast and often to uncover the best solutions.
